Hey there! My name is Anna and I am a punny, (slightly)crazy almost-20 year-old. I was born into a sweet family of God-serving parents and 3 irreplaceable sisters--I fall third in that line to complete an order of 4 girls. I was born in Southern Virginia, but then moved to Charlottesville at the ripe age of 6 years old when my dad received a new pastoral position just outside the town. So I've lived in this area for about 15+ years, and I can honestly say that I can't think of a more beautiful place to live. My sisters and I were home-schooled (the youngest still is), with little trickling's of "dual enrollment" and "co-op" weaved throughout our education. We're an interesting bunch, to say the least ;)
I invited Jesus into my life when I was six and had the privilege of being baptized by my dad at the same age. Although I accepted Jesus, I believe Jesus truly became Lord in every manner of the word when I was 13. After feeling the weight of how much I was still carrying, relying on myself and controlling my life, I fully gave everything over to Jesus--and I've never looked back.
This blog is based off of the phrase that has been in my heart for years--"for the Glory of God". I write this in the front of every journal I use so that I will always remember WHO my life is really centered around. I want to so reflect God in everything I do, say, or go through. I don't want my life to be about me, because it's not. I am learning that in good times praise Him, but in trials praise Him even MORE because He's about to do something incredible! Just be ready :)
