About Me

Thanks for popping by my neck of the woods! I guess if I am going to be sharing more about myself in my posts, you should probably know what you are getting yourself into! My name is Anna Dumaresq. I am a twenty-something with a punny sense of humor, unquenchable travel bug, and a genuine love for Jesus Christ. If you're looking for me, I'm usually outdoors (rain, wind or shine) or tucked away in a coffee shop. I'm also an Introvert by nature....but I occasionally disguise myself as a social butterfly. *wink*

As far as my own "life story" goes, it is pretty simple. I am a true Virginian, having lived in this beautiful state my entire life. Our little home is nestled in between woods and mountains. Fall can never be accurately described in words here--you just have to see and SMELL it for yourself. Our home is filled with the bustling of everyday life, as well as really bad puns, hot tea, some sort of cake, and halves of apples. We have a spaniel named Prince, another dog who thinks he belongs to us, and always a kitten or two poking around.

In this season of life, you find me working part time as an Administrative Assistant for CrossLife Community Church, working as a companion for a really sweet 17-year-old girl named Megan, baking for events, and working away at my BA in Christian Counseling (through Toccoa Falls College in Georgia). Life is full of unexpected twists and turns--but also a lot of Joy. This blog is a simple outlet for my musings, lessons, burdens and joys as I follow after Jesus. May you be blessed and your eyes lifted up to Jesus!

P.s. If you ever have questions about anything you read on this little blog, please feel free to email me! (anna.dumaresq@gmail.com)
